About Us

Marvelous Strings was established under the guidance and leadership of esteemed cellist Felipe Deakins, who served as the principal cellist of the PCC Symphony and actively participated in recording sessions at Rejoice Studios in Pensacola, collaborating with audio engineers to produce unique tracks for multiple CDs. Before his time in Florida, Felipe honed his talents in Sao Paulo, Brazil, as a member of the Orchestra Grupo Pao de Acucar. Serving as the orchestra's principal cellist from Fall 2011 to Spring 2013, Felipe had the privilege of performing internationally in three different countries, including the United States, Italy, and Argentina. Notably, Felipe served for two consecutive years as the principal cellist in the prestigious Iguazu en Concierto Festival, an annual mega-music event. 

With his vast musical experience, Felipe Deakins brings a wealth of expertise and professionalism to Marvelous Strings. His contributions as a cellist and leader have elevated the ensemble's reputation, ensuring that they provide an elegant and unforgettable music experience for wedding ceremonies and other special occasions. Marvelous Strings ensembles are composed of professional string players based in Pensacola, Florida. As an award-winning wedding musicians, Marvelous Strings offers the highest level of professionalism, adding a touch of elegance to your special day.

Marvelous Strings has performed all around the gulf coast including but not limited to Destin, Miramar Beach, Alys Beach, Seaside, Fairhope, Mobile, and Gulf Shores.
